The hair salon "Idees gia Mallia" (Ideas for Hair) was created by Maria Tzeliou and Naso Giannitsis. Coming from a generation of well-known hairdressers, Maria and Nassos have sound educational training and continue their long successful careers with education and training.

Maria was born in Piraeus and grew up in her mother's (Gioula Tzeliou) hair salon, which made her love hairdressing and marked her course in life.
At the age of 20 she opened her own hair salon in Kalamaki, which she successfully runs to this day.
In 1990 she graduated form the college of OAED, in Iraklion Attica. In the same year she took part in the National hairdresser's competition and won 2nd place. This made her a member of the National team of hairdresser's, where she remained for the next six years. She travelled throughout Greece giving demonstrations and shows. As a member of the national team, Maria competed individually and collectively in European and World competitions.
She became the trainer for the Junior OAED group from Piraeus and her team won the first 12 places. She withdrew from the competitions as a judge in 1999.
As a presenter and member of the New Generation of Artisans' Union of Hairdressers of Greece for many years, she has participated with great success in hair styling shows.
In 1996 she attended a course for hairdressing trainers in the Department of Education at the University of Athens.
Her brilliant career has thus heightened, where she does photo shoots and her creations are published in may Greek and foreign magazines in the field, such as HAIR AND STYLE, PASSION, ESTETICA, TOP ART, HAIR NOW and many more.
In 2000 she became an educator for Greece for the company of JOICO. Twice a year Maria visits the Netherlands where she attends the course for the new collection of the company for the Spring-Summer and Autumn-Winter trends and then presents them to hairdressers in Greece.
